Cozy hotel in city centre

Pros: Very nice building in city centre. From the hotel you can walk anywhere. Very comfortable bed. Cozy nicely decorated room.

Cons: There was a lot of dust behind the fridge. Seemed like nobody cleaned it for quite some time. A bath robe in the room would have been nice. The towels provided are very small.

Beautiful hotel, in a great location with a wonderful restaurant.

Pros: We had a deluxe double room with bath that was a little tricky to heat (when we checked out they explained that there was a second heating system in the room, which we did not see). It was large room with high ceiling, which made the room as little less comfortable then I would have liked. However, it was a beautiful room. When we stay the next time, I will take a smaller room which I find more comfortable. The restaurant in the Souterrain was amazing. If it is open, I would definitely suggest a visit. It is heavily vegetarian but very superior! Also important for us: there was a Q park across the street.

Pros: Lovely hotel in a convenient location on the edge of the center of town. Beautiful, well-appointed room in keeping with the historic building, lovely breakfast and hospitable staff. Will come again!

Beautiful and clean hotel at the border of the city centre.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful old building close to city centre, the room I had (attic) was beatiful, very clean, coffee and tea facilities.

Cons: The room I had was quite dark (always artificial light needed). Although the hotel can’t help it, it was quite noisy in the evening because of people outside nearby bars (no loud music though), and noisy already at 7:00 because of works nearby.

Pros: Good location to explore the city centre of Groningen. Very friendly staff. Adjacent parking facility.

Pros: Location and parking deal, the room itself was also very tastefully decorated and comfortable, staff was amazing

Pros: Every member of staff we encountered, were absolutely fantastic. Can't fault the staff one single bit. Great people, all very friendly and helpful, especially Fiona. Thank you for making our trip so good. Staff allowed us to park our motorcycles in the rear secure area, which was very much appreciated.

Cons: We stayed in room 5, a lovely room, but it was very dark, even in the daytime. Also, it overlooks the kitchen area, and when trying to sleep, you could hear the staff talking late at night and then early in the morning. Also, think this is where the staff smoke, and this drifts into the room if you have the windows open. Only small things, but could be improved. Would I stay there again?? Probably yes, just because of the staff.

Pros: All the staff were warm & welcoming. The service overalll felt personal, including the fresh breakfast choices. I was really happy that they could fit my motorbike into their courtyard for security.

Cons: The bicycle I rented could have done with some minor adjustments to make it more comfortable but they didn't have a tool.

A good choice.

Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating, including opening a little early for breakfast one day to accommodate our plans. Rooms were spacious and very nice. A very good breakfast

Cons: Nothing really affected us. The elevator is old and limited in capacity but not an inconvenience to any in our group
