A very well located comfortable hotel with wonderful staff

Pros: The staff were absolutely delightful and could not have been more helpful. They made us tea on arrival, helped us with our bikes and were interested and attentive at all times. The hotel is just a short walk from the station and centre of the town in a very quiet area.

Cons: Nothing. They got everything right.

Nice hotel for a few nights.

Pros: Rooms were clean and well maintained, First time in any hotel where the shower did not leak into the bathroom. The in house restaurant was nice, the food tasty. Breakfast was good.

Cons: No room service.

A fantastic stay at Hotrl Mappel

Pros: My familly and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Meppel in Holland, and I can confidently say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect — always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The location is ideal, offering easy access to local attractions while still providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the overall ambiance of the hotel made it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend Hotel Meppel to anyone visiting the area — it truly exceeded all expectations!
