Hampshire Hotel - 's Gravenhof Zutphen

Pros: Breakfast was amazing. It tasted very well. The night staff was super friendly.

Cons: Perfectly happy

Zutphen is a charm and a must visit. This hotel is a good location.

Pros: Loved the breakfast and the choices. The location of the hotel was a bit far from train station but manageable. The elevator in the hotel was helpful. The room was small but nicely appointed. The building itself is absolutely gorgeous like an estate.

Cons: The staff could have been more friendly. We asked for suggestions in the town and she shrugged. It was a patron at the small bar who gave her suggestions to tell us. Not sure if this was a training issue or? The room had an off putting smell. Sort of like sewage. Not sure if this is an old building smell or somewhat of a blockage.

Second time I’m staying at this hotel and I will come back.

Pros: My room was very clean and people Working there are very nice.

Convenient location for a visit to the historic city of Zutphen

Pros: ExCellent location in the centre of Zutphen, still relatively quiet. Very friendly staff. Spacious room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Nespresso machine available. Good quality breakfast. Parking day card available for adjacent public parking.

Cons: The TV channel collection was limited. Contact noises from the rooms above were too loud.

Great position in Zutphen, close the everything. Staff lovely and helpful.

Cons: Room very draughty, high ceilings and windows most probably the cause.

A pleasant stay

Pros: good breakfast clean rooms excellent, responsive front desk. right in the centre of town.

Cons: Breakfast room a bit small and poor layout so awkward to get coffee and access the dishes. Windows in breakfast room cannot be opened and so gets quite hot.

A historic building in the heart of this fascinating town, perfect for exploring

Pros: The front of the hotel is in a historic building in the heart of this fascinating town. Behind the old building is located the the more modern part of the hotel. The staff at reception were very helpful and considerate. Our room in the modern part was spacious and usefully furnished with good wifi enabling full use of the desk. The bed was large and comfortable and the room was quiet. We also liked the two easy chairs. The shower was compact, but a walk in wardrobe and easy to use safe were provided. There was a good choice at breakfast, especially liked the fruit bread. The hotel's central location meant we were able to walk readily around the town and by use of the trains explore further afield.

Cons: Monday is a very quiet day in Zutphen, everything either opens later or is closed

will certainly return!

Pros: Beautiful old building with lots of history, but very modern rooms A/C was on when I arrived, so I had a fresh room Lots of restaurants around, river nearby

Pros: Location as Zutphen is a very attractive old Dutch Hansa port

Pros: Always friendly and very accommodating and helpful.
