Hotel De Schout

Super location. Great staff and a huge room.

Pros: Huge room, well furnished with a view of the church. The balcony was small but nice. The free coffee and tea on the first level was super. And the lounge there is very comfortable. We made good use of both.

Cons: Can't close the door to the balcony if you are in the balcony. Meaning all the cold air comes back into the room. Just a little handle so you can pull it closed would keep the cold out of the room. The beds were very hard and the pillows were very small But the room and view made up for all that. We were in room 7. In late November 2025

Pros: We stayed 1 night. The room was very comfortable, the people very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful.

Cons: The lights in the assigned room were not working. The lady assisted us quickly, and we had to switch rooms. Unfortunately, we lost the nice view, but the new room was also good and spacious.

Highly recommendable.

Pros: The restaurant is very cosy, food is prepared with great care and taste.

Pros: Super large, spacious room with bath. Parking outside is free. Pleasant staff. In the city center, I recommend it.

Cons: A modest breakfast. there could be hot dishes, the scrambled eggs were stale, it looked unappetizing

Pros: Very nice hotel. Large room with balcony, comfortable bed. Choice of restaurants and secure bike storage. Good breakfast included, free tea & coffee available too

Unexpected suprised and it was amazing and great value

Pros: The room is big and we have a room with a sauna which is amazing. Shower room is spacious. There’s balcony too over looking the square. The restaurant and bar is beautiful and nice to be at.

Cons: A bit far off but the village is beautiful to wonder around

Lovely find as a stop over hotel during our travels. Would definitely come back again.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely large comfortable room. Lounge area on the 1st floor with books, board games and free tea and coffee (and paid for mini-bar). Good value for money. Choice of different restaurants on-site. Good quality breakfast. Nice location just over the German border so ideal as a stop off.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: A good selection of choices for breakfast, very self service. Busy hotel when we were there. Room ideal for a wheelchair guest. no real interaction with staff.

Cons: Did not highlight how far from the centre of Enschie this hotel was. It was in the next town,

great breakfast great location great value for money.

Pros: location and size of rooms plus parking for my car
