Comfortable stay
Pros: The communication with the owners was clear and quick, all online or by phone. The instructions for the two key cabinets were very clear. Very nice groundfloor room, had comfy seats for both of us, good bed, good shower with good amount of shelving and drawers, plenty of sockets across the room, good lighting options with multiple lamps, TV with all modcons and connectivities, good and free wifi. Quiet. Heating worked well, with option to change the settings (it was below zero at night outside). The shared kitchen was kitted out to high standard, everything you’d need was available. Ample supply of coffee and tea from the machine in de shared breakfast room, option even to make a big pot of tea in the kitchen with a big kettle. Windows can be opened. Blackout blinds work well. Modern decor, no carpets. Supermarket very near. Would return.
Cons: No wardrobe or clothsrack to hang eg trousers or dress, only a low dresser; no option/hooks to hang up a coat either, No small kettle in the room (all coffee/tea making things were outside of the room in shared facilities). On-street car parking conditions unclear. Minor point: no waste bin in the room, only in the bathroom. No apparent recycling of waste. Not a B&B as breakfast is not included.

The idyllic B&B
Pros: Brilliant. It’s a winner. This cozy B&B was just the accommodation I needed for a couple of days rest. The location is beautiful, tranquil and ideal for writing or collecting your thoughts…
Cons: The staircase/steps could be made wider, otherwise there’s not much not to like.

Pros: Very nice place to stay while exploring the northern part of the Netherlands. We were on a bike trip and had a really relaxing night. The neighborhood is quite and the hotel is brand new.
Cons: No shampoo / conditioner and no soap :(

Pros: HUGE apartment, with large lounge and large kitchen/dining room. Very well equipped. Large bedroom, with large, good bathroom. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: Self check-in has become a thing. However, it only works if the guest has received the key safe check-in code or Wfi instructions. If not, it can be a nightmare for those not travelling with European SIM cards, especially if arriving by bikes on a rainy day. This is the second time in 2 weeks this has happened to us. Please expect a confirmation reply that your check-in instructions have been received and if you get no confirmation, make further arrangements to ensure your guests are not compromised. Now 48 hours later, we have still not received any check-in message or apology on any media platform. Thank you very much to a German couple, in a neighbouring apartment who helped us, but whose privacy we abused.

A great place to stay which is as luxury as many big hotels.
Pros: The house is recently renovated and looks really beautiful. The interior is chosen carefully and gives a luxury feeling. It is definitely a good place to be. I would 100% recommend it.
Cons: The bed squeaks if you change sides and the blanket was on the shorter side. But maybe that's just me who felt it short. But I'll definitely book it again if I am around.
