Villa Le Jardin

Pros: Best accommodation of our 8 day trip. Quirky. Comfy bed. The most amazing breakfast! By a canal. Oude Pekela is small and quiet. No bars etc open during the week. Only 1 restaurant open which was a pizza place (had amazing pizzas though). Host (who's name I've completely forgotten, sorry) was lovely - took time to show us around the accomodation and have a chat.

With ample space for our belongings and a well-appointed bathroom for three, we felt right at home. Breakfast was a delightful experience, allowing us to set our own time and enjoy the meal at our leisure—no rush, just pure enjoyment. The host truly was a gem, exuding enthusiasm and friendliness that made our stay even more special. Nestled in a peaceful location, Villa Le Jardin offered the best of both worlds: a serene retreat that inspired dreams of hopping on a flight to Cuba. If you're seeking a unique getaway that combines charm and comfort, look no further!

Pros: Lovely hospitality. Close to local shops. We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again. Dog friendly with a good outdoor area, fenced in.

Pros: Attention to detail here is amazing 🤩. Totally unique. Debby is a superstar, the breakfast brought to the room is stunning. Absolutely brilliant place.

Pros: We came to stay at Villa Le Hardin. Debby is so lovely and friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Wow we had the Cuba suite , it was stunning, absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful bathroom, lounge, gorgeous bedroom, lovely paintings on the wall. A private patio garden with table and chairs, very pretty. The breakfast was beautifully presented and so much food! Excellent. Thank you Debby for a fantastic stay.

Pros: Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.

Heerlijk verblijf.

Pros: We voelden ons welkom in deze mooie b&b. Er is veel aandacht en liefde in gestoken. Met een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Rustige omgeving.

Cons: Het enige kleine minpuntje was een soort ruis die bijna de hele dag te horen was (met name in bed). Mogelijk een afzuiging of leidingwerk.
