Julius Groningen

This was a PERFECT stay for our family. The apartment was gorgeous- beautifully decorated, spacious.

Pros: This was a PERFECT stay for our family. The apartment was gorgeous- beautifully decorated, spacious and immaculately clean. Truly lovely. Also, the location was perfect and the host could not have been more helpful. I will definitely return and highly recommend this to everyone.

Pros: Within the historic centre of Groningen, this unique apartment has everything that a family of 4 needs to have quality time when returning from walks around the town. The two bedrooms are comfortable, with the master being spacious enough to accommodate armchairs, coffee table and desk. The dining room is exquisite and the perfect place to dine with style. The living room is very bright and cosy. The whole apartment is tastefully decorated, respecting the centuries that this building dates from. The kitchen offers all the amenities one can ask to prepare food, whereas the bathroom has a washing machine and drier for any emergencies. Definitely this is a true gem!

Cons: You have to be fit enough to climb the steep stairs, but, I guess, this is part of the charm of staying in a house dating more than 2.5 centuries ago....

A very pleasant stay in a bright, spacious room, with an excellent host and a wonderful location.

Pros: The location is absolutely wonderful. Julius was extremely thoughtful and helpful — he even assisted me with my luggage and kindly allowed me to leave my bags a little longer since I had an appointment. He was very flexible and understanding, which made all the difference. The apartment itself is beautiful, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. I arrived on sunny days and really enjoyed the brightness and atmosphere. The room is very spacious, and the bathroom has everything one might need, including a great shower and a wonderful bathtub. I had a truly comfortable and pleasant stay — highly recommended!

Cons: Maybe it was my mistake for not reading the description carefully enough, but I initially understood that the space included an outdoor area/terrace. Upon arrival, Julius kindly clarified that this belonged to a larger apartment upstairs, not the one I had booked.

What a lovely place to stay and Julius was very welcoming

Pros: Beautiful, quirky, clean and well equipped. Very central. It really makes a difference when the host provides small things like oil, salt, sugar.

Cons: We liked everything! But the toilet door lock needs checking.

Pros: The apartment has excellent location almost in the center, the employees which give us the key was very nice and helped us to carry our luggage,

Cons: Only one thing I didn’t like which is too many stares to reach the apartment

Pros: We had a wonderful stay in Groningen. The location of the flat is fantastic and the host war very Kind and helpful. We can only highly recomend Julius Groningen!
