Pros: The hotel is under renovation and the rooms are very new and modern. We absolutely loved it

Beautifully designed hotel with very high quality finishes.

Pros: Room service from onsite restaurant had the best burgers EVER. Indoor playground for children was very handy for winter time :) Free parking right in front of the hotel.

Cons: There was construction all around our room (ours was the only completed room in this section of the corridor). So it was a bit weird walking over the plastic wrappings on the floor and with towels blocking the door for dust.

Pros: The room, location near the freeway and wonderful staff!

All in all we had a great stay at Van der Valk. Especially the spacy rooms and the wonderful breakfast buffet with GLUTE

Pros: Close to highway. Spacy rooms. Nice beds. VERY nice buffets (breakfast, lunch, dinner and high noon tea:) Friendly, helpful staff. Great fitness room. Beautiful lounge in reception area. Escalator a huge plus for disabled guests. Variety of beverages, candy etc in vending machines and fridges in reception. Cozy bar area. A lot of parking lots. THE RESTAURANT OFFERS GLUTENFREE alternatives <3

Cons: A little lack in info that the rooms in the sleeping building is separated from main building with bar, reception etc. As a disabled I would have liked to know where to park and how to move around between facilities BEFORE arrival... We, travelling with youngsters, also did not like that sextoys was displayed alongside sodas, candy, bars and cakes in the vending machines. Buffet a little pricy.

Quiet haven next to a busy motorway.

Pros: Having a ground floor room with a balcony (table outside) was great for access (unloading gear) and for enjoying the warm evening sunshine. The breakfast was as usual excellent. (this is our third stay enroute to the ferry at Ijmuiden and we find the location perfect after a long drive across Germany. Despite being so close to the E22 motorway it's a remarkably quiet location and we slept like logs!

Cons: Marmalade with the bread!! There was everything else but we Englishmen like our marmalade!!!

Business trip to Hoogezand

Pros: Had to cancel the stay, but the hotel & restaurant looked awesome.

Pros: absolute great hotel. nice spacious room, good spoundproofing, bath, very good breakfast, nice beds, style is okay

Cons: when sitting on the balcony, you sit next to the smoking people nextdoor.

Pros: Large room Close to highway, easy to reach Great shower Breakfast with many options (additional fee)

Cons: Sound insulation is not great

Pros: Modern and stylishly furnished hotel, very cozy and large superior double room, large kingsize bed, nice Smart-TV with streaming options (like Netflix), mini-bar, bathroom with shower and nice large bathtub, balcony, cozy lighting, good selection and excellent food in the restaurant, room service, friendly and helpful staff!

Cons: Kingsize bed consisting out of two small mattresses put together with a connecting-mat on top instead of one large kingsize mattress! Hotel located directly next to the highway! Poor view from the balcony, even to the back side! Room service fee too high (8,50 €)! No sauna, jacuzzi or other wellness...

A wonderful stay which lived up to all our expectations.

Pros: Having stayed at this hotel before we had no hesitation in rebooking it. The location is perfect for us as family all live nearby in Hoogezand, Noordbroek and Groningen. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable beds which is important. The daily buffet breakfast certainly didn't disappoint and we used the restaurant on occasions including treating our family to a final farewell dinner. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful for\\\\rom the front, reception, restaurant staff, room service and ground staff.
