Convenient location for Stadskanaal ‘74

Pros: We came to see our daughters playing Korfball nearby and so this was a highly convenient place to stay. We liked having a kettle in the room, with some tea and coffee. Housekeeping was offered every day, too.

Cons: Two single beds pushed together do not make a good double.

Pros: Location in the center of Stadskanaal (if any center) was perfect. Possibility to store a bicycle.

Cons: Noise of construction work within the hotel. However: the hotel tries to avoid noise early in the morning and in the evening, so it was was almost not annoying.

Clean hotel in central location. Great staff.

Pros: The rooms were very spacious and clean and the bar was open late and very welcoming.

Cons: The rooms were dated, but there were renovation works going on.

Enjoyable stay and value for money.

Pros: Friendly welcoming staff. Great location. Close to the bus station and venue of my evening.

Cons: The room was cold overnight and there was no blanket.

Pros: The room I was in had all the necessary amenities (kettle, fridge, Smart TV, clothes pressing board, hairdryer, etc.). It was very clean, and cozy. They maids replenished the coffee, tea, milk and sugar daily. There was no AC in the room, but there was a ceiling fan above the bed, which did the job since it wasn't that hot. The bathroom is very clean and looks new.

Cons: The breakfast options were good, but it is a bit pricy (not included in the price of the room), and they sometimes didn't refill the trays that became empty. Also they don't have a cook there, so you can only choose between hard boiled or scrambled eggs (which get eaten quickly).
