Excellent accommodation with a superb restaurant in a peaceful, scenic area.

Pros: I was working at the Assen Circuit so after a hectic day it was nice to return to a peaceful location serving excellent dinner. The hosts and staff were always very welcoming and attentive to every detail. Because of the time I was having to leave each morning the only experience I had of breakfast was on the last day and this was lovely and typical with local and home made produce.

Cons: Whilst the wifi was OK downstairs is was very slow in the rooms and as I needed this for work it was the only disappointing element of the stay. Having found such an ideal spot to stay whils working at the race track I learned that the owners may close the restaurant side of the business by next year, which is a shame.

Fishing for a week so it’s nice to have a nice comfy warm night

Pros: Two of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. Staff were so friendly. Location is beautiful.

Great peaceful location

Pros: Beautiful dining room serving high end meals. The hotel room had a good view.

Cons: There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the hotel room.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and coffee! Peaceful location.

Cons: The room we booked was smaller than we realized. Access to coffee maker was locked in the morning until 8:30. As an early riser I love my first cup of coffee. The bed sagged.
