The Black Sheep Hostel

Pros: Very friendly owner who is running the place with a great enthusiasm. Beautiful surroundings.

Cons: The kitchen is the only common room and can easily get a bit crowded. Same with the showers and toilets for the bunk rooms.

Pros: The staff is really nice, and also provide the information of the village, telling you where to visit and what to eat. And the breakfast is good, too! They also provide fridge and kitchen, so you can also cook by yourself if the dinner here is too expensive for you. And the common space is a heart-warming area, they have a blackboard where you can draw anything or sign.

Cons: The shower is earth-friendly, which mean you have to click on the button many time to have the water to take a shower. It's not a really big deal, but just to let you know!

Pros: Atmosphere location and surrounding it’s wast area including outdoor and indoor garden , lawn etc

Lived up to my expectations

Pros: There was no disturbance. I was given the privacy.

Cons: The seatings (chairs) outside the property near the canals were not kept tidy. I could see big spiders on the chairs. I want to sit on those chairs to relax, however, I wasn't able because of this reason.

if 10 point is the max, i will give then 11 point .

Pros: the staff are super helpful. we had something happen in Giethoorn and they really try to help us, we feel warm from them. also, the breakfast is top as well. Good food and really yummy. location is also not bad. that is in gietgoorn inside, close with one of the rent boat company.

Cons: if really need to find something to said... the room have small spiders. but in Giethoorn have spider everywhere. so i think that all accommodation in there is the same. (but the staff know we scary sprider, they even come to help us clean it again, they are really so nice...)

Pros: Everything was clean, room is well sizes, bed is comfortable. Staff ade helpful. Breakfast is really great. Great location!

Cute with awesome location

Pros: Comfortable beds, very clean, fantastic location, good breakfast, use of kitchen to make dinner was handy, great supermarket nearby, exactly as described with cute attic type room and downstairs private bathroom. Stairs are narrow which was totally fine for us and they help carry the bags up. Very kind and gracious hosts!!

Pros: A nice and cozy hostel in a great location, with super friendly staff.

Nice hostel to experience Giethoorn from inside

Pros: Property is inside the village and near the canal which gives the raw feeling of living in the Giethoorn Village. Hostel has kitchen where we can cook for ourself or there is superb restaurant nearby to the property.

Good spot for a short stay.

Pros: Located nicest spot of giethoorn. Simple breakfast, but good. Friendly staffs. Clean toilets, and bathing area.

Cons: Overall is clean, but some spiderweb on some corners.
