We loved it

Pros: Very spacious room with excellent facilities. The adjoining upper veranda was lovely. Very close to town centre. The recommendation to eat at the bistro across the road was very welcome

Cons: Not a problem for us but the stairs to upper floor are quite steep. There is a room on ground floor however. As an aside if arriving by motorcycle in the rain the paving gets slippy

Peaceful

Pros: Well, the hospitality and they were very helpful in giving us tips on how to find our way around, and we like the villa, and it's location. You have the opportunity to reach or do so many things by short walking distance ✨️

Pros: Large villa with a lounge, fireplace, large dining room, cozy living rooms and plus a cozy courtyard with a pool with fish. Situated in the center of Emmen. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. I especially recommend the restaurant Lorenzo's. Also very close is located the amazing zoo Wildland. The owners of the villa are amazing people, caring, smart and generous people, always ready to listen, help with advice and come to the rescue. Thank you for your hospitality.

Really a home away from home. I would highly recommend for a longer stay in Drenthe.

Pros: The confort in general with large airy room, individual balcony on a quiet street, excellently furnished kitchen. Short walk from the train station for early departures with excellent dining options next door.

Cons: Lack of a desk in the room to setup the laptop computer.
