A place that you immediately feel relaxed and at home

Pros: We had a whole apartment with bedroom (very good beds). living room and kitchen. It was very quiet even though close to a train station. The owner was amazing - she thought of all needs of her guests from stuff in bathroom to a large selection at breakfast. The house also had a beautiful garden. Even better the town in the summer has great air balloon displays …

Cons: Nothing - it was all good

excellent

Pros: Everything about the property was excellent. We were on motorcycles and were told we could use the car port to park which is really handy and secure. Location was 1 minute from train, but not noisey and 5 mins from town and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. Due to road closures we arrived late but the keys were hidden for us and entry was simple. Really close to the TT circuit at Assen.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: We agreed on the time of arrival and the keys were simply handed over.

Cons: nothing. Excellent property and excellent host

Great value, great location. Honest, simple and friendly.

Pros: The B&B is excellent value for money, and it is clear that the hosts take a lot of pride in what they offer. Some of the decor is a little dated, but it is the abundance of little extras that make this B&B stand out. Things like finding a stroopwafel to have with coffee when we got back to the room, or the wide selection of condiments offered with the breakfast. There is a huge amount of space and it feels more like staying at a friend's place than a commercial property. Cons: I was not a huge fan of the beds. First, when I booked the room, I thought I had booked a room with a double bed. But when we arrived, we were given an apartment with twin beds. As it was just for one night and perhaps I missed something when booking, I did not mention it. So, I cannot say if the double bed is the same, but the singles were quite narrow and I think the mattress was simply cut foam. It wasn't terrible and we both slept well; it's just wasn't what I epected or like. Other than that, there were no major negatives from my perspective.

Pros: The apartment is very nice, it has all things that you need for your stay. Host is very friendly and kind. The breakfast was nice. They provided many additional things like several type of teas, coffee etc. Free car parking!

Geweldige B&B

Pros: Geweldig gezellige en complete b&b met alles er op en eraan. Heerlijk ontbijt. Complete inrichting. Lekker bed.

Cons: Niets. Misschien de diesel treinen op het station de rust verstoren. Maar daar heb je eigenlijk geen last van.

Super gastvrij en van alle gemakken voorzien!

Pros: Een super hartelijke ontvangst, erg fijn na een lange wandeldag. Verder hadden we eigenlijk een complete woning tot onze beschikking die van alle gemakken was voorzien. Heerlijk gevulde koelkast en afstemming over wat we lekker vonden voor het ontbijt. Super leuke tips om ‘s avonds wat te eten. We mochten zelfs de fietsen lenen. Echt geweldig! Wij komen graag nog eens terug op deze slaapplek als we weer in de buurt zijn. Echt een aanrader!
